Shane contacted me yesterday. He has a later model shaft drive Austrak that he uses on his property in the North Coast region of NSW. Shane is interested in speaking to fellow owners and sharing knowledge. He also has an older chain drive machine which has no engine  I think he would be happy to help out chain drive owners with parts from that wrecked machine….so if you have a chain drive in need of bits give him a call and check what’s available.

Neil’s Wildcat is now SOLD

Nathan Tramm is selling a complete Wildcat and spares as a result of a clean out of his father’s shed. You will notice we have a new Project Page for Neil’s Wildcat. Neil purchased this good looking machine quite recently and is currently looking at options to repair the Wisconsin motor. I’m sure that he would appreciate any input from people here who have undertaken that task.

There are currently two RT45’s for sale on Gumtree, one in Queensland and one in Victoria. The one on the left is the Queenslander and the other is Jim Deering’s extensively modified and rebuilt RT45 plus a large collection of spares located in Victoria.  Heads up to any reader wanting to acquire a machine, now is the time to let the moths out of the wallet.  All relevant info is on the Gumtree site, it’s worth checking out.

Hi you might have noticed a new page on the menu bar. It’s all about Ray’s Widcat  Project. Ray forwarded some pics of his machine at the time he acquired it and has offered to keep us up to date with the progress of what is going to be a fairly major rebuild so I decided to start a page where it can all be in one place.

I’m more than happy to do that for anyone who is willing to share their rebuild or other related projects. Apart from the fact that I’m a curious old bugger I’m sure that the knowledge and experience will be useful to people who frequent the site,
